5mm high-density acoustic underlay for use beneath click-lock engineered wood and laminate flooring. Roll covers 15 square metres (1m × 15m), enough for one average sitting room or two medium bedrooms.
Reduces impact sound transmission by up to 21dB (laboratory tested to EN ISO 10140) — important if the floor above sits over a bedroom, a conversion flat, or an HMO where tenants complain about footsteps. Also smooths out small subfloor imperfections up to 2mm.
Integrated vapour barrier film on one face protects the wood from residual moisture in screed subfloors. Lay the barrier face DOWN. Butt joints flat, don't overlap — tape all seams with vapour-barrier tape (not sold here, available at any merchant).
